How do you make your brand stand out in the crowd?

By humanizing your brand you can make your business the best party in town!
So what do we do? How can we get our brand on our customer's radar?
Focus on content and fine tuning it – make it engaging and informative
Marketing is about people and adding a human touch to your social media marketing activities can humanize your brand
Make a discussion feel like you are talking to a colleague or friend by humanizing it, don’t be a Dalek
Humanizing your brand will stir emotions, build trust, inspire and give an opportunity to let your personality shine through
You can leverage your greatest human assets, breathe life into your marketing, be yourself and be unique
Great marketing is great story telling, everyone likes a good story – make it interesting
Simple, meaningful and valuable content is appreciated and very effective
Unless specifically required, jargon laden and technical content doesn't seem to be needed all the time. Articles don't have to be 1000 words and blog posts can be just as valuable as white papers
Blogging with valuable content and interesting images are effective as a way of humanizing your brand and building awareness
Know your audience and know your customers. It's about researching, communicating, connecting and social listening
When it comes to humanizing your brand, don't be afraid to make a mistake. You learn a lot from your unhappiest customers. What's important is how you deal with the mistake and the customer
You have to remember your customers are human. Consumers love a brand because of friendly customer service and a large percentage of buying experiences are based on how the customer feels they are being treated
Your employees represent your brand. How well are they doing that? How could you help them be better ambassadors for your company?
Think of your customers as your partners
Be open-minded , try new things, see what is working in the market place at the moment
Speak when spoken to - communicate through social media platforms, join discussions, offer opinions and listen to people
Gain something from a disagreement
Be available, proactive and responsive - create relevant content that can be shared and commented on
Avoid too much corporate talk, in a lot of cases, there's no need
Set goals and objectives to help humanize your brand
Have a strategy - what works for you and your customers?
Magnify your efforts - if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Try a different approach, what works for one might not work for the other
Use Buzzwords - what are the latest marketing words, terms and phrases that are grabbing attention?
Be forthcoming, don't be afraid
Try to create interest on a personal level
Have a personality
We are human after all.
